2025 Recap

In 2025, you helped pay 160 individual trans and nonbinary artists more than $25,000! Gender Fucked Productions put on 25 shows and hosted 13 socials/classes with more than 4,200 in attendance. That's a lot of trans art for trans audiences! And our programs are expanding: Queer Dance Freakout, Trans Voices Cabaret, T4T Open Mics, and the newly launched Metamorphosis (playwright residency) will soon be joined by new programs in visual arts, literary arts, and burlesque.

We are engaging more deeply across the city with 20% of events held on the Southside, 17% on the Westside, and 63% on the Northside (Plus 3 live-streamed shows). Plans are in place to even out these numbers next year.

Transilience: Trans Pride Chicago featured 90+ trans performing projects in parks on the North, South, and West sides of Chicago this summer.

Trans Scribe: A New Works Festival featured 6 ten-minute plays, 7 new musical theater songs, 2 one-act shows, and a full-length play reading.

Thanks to the League of Chicago Theatres, our Producer Mentorship Program held its first retreat in the woods of Michigan!
